 I believe in making learning fun and meaningful for the children through interacting during direct and indirect instruction. I know that I have the opportunity and privilege to make a difference in the lives of students. Keeping in mind, the students we are teaching today will shape our nation and are the generations of tomorrow.   

Therefore, I will create a caring community in my classroom and teach children to respect and appreciate others, thus helping them to develop skills to participate and contribute outside the classroom. My classroom environment will be one in which students feel comfortable to make mistakes, ask questions, and experience success. I believe that this would promote and develop necessary social skills that will benefit the children. Children’s social successes in school include the development of self-respect, self-discipline, and the responsibility to make decisions and live by the consequences of their actions.

It has been my greatest joy to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in this area of ministry here at World Harvest Training Center. I started as a preschool teacher and worked up to the kinder program in 1999. I have also had the pleasure of standing in the role of one of the directors of Harvest Christian Academy since 2003 up to 2009. I now teach 2nd grade and again have the sheer pleasure of being directly in and around one of the most wonderful gifts God has given us...OUR  CHILDREN! I have a total of 15 years experience in administrative and preschool/elementary level education. My vision, goal, and hearts desire is to assure every child that they are in a safe and loving environment that is conducive to learning. I believe that we can touch every life through the love of Christ. I also believe we should continue building strong foundations of the Word of God in the hearts and minds of these precious lives...our next generation!
